What the law says. What they did. What's missing. What you do now. This page is the last beat. Four steps, about ten minutes. Everything here goes to the offices that owe the public an answer. Nothing here targets a person.
One House member and two senators work for you. Both lookups open the official House and Senate directories, which have each office's contact form and phone number.
Prefer to call? The Capitol switchboard connects you to any office: 202-224-3121. Say your name, your city, and that you are calling about the federal review of Nolan Xavier Wells' death. Then read the three questions below.
Fill in your name and city, copy the letter, and paste it into each office's contact form. Three offices, same letter. Offices count letters. They answer the ones that ask specific questions.
Door one in Lesson 6 depends on one fact nobody has published: what kind of federal land Horn Island is. A records request to the National Park Service is how a citizen gets that answer. Any person can file one. It's free for most requests.
The House and Senate Judiciary Committees oversee the Justice Department. The Natural Resources (House) and Energy and Natural Resources (Senate) Committees oversee the Park Service. Ask your member to request a hearing.
The Justice Department's Civil Rights Division takes reports from the public. A report is not a charge. It is a record that you asked, with a date on it.
The next Congress is seated January 3, 2027. Committee chairs decide who gets called to testify under oath. No party, no names here. Just the fact that your vote picks who holds the gavel.
Agent rules apply to every step: learn the law, document, vote, follow up, never harass. Our enemy is injustice, not people. I'm an educator, not an attorney. Nothing here is legal advice.
When you get an answer, or no answer by the deadline, that's documentation. Post it in the comments on the Lesson 6 video, or send it to hello@lawrencetotimeh.com. Every answer goes on the timeline. That's how the record gets built: one letter at a time.
Learn the law. Document. Vote. Follow up. Never harass. Every like, every repost, every comment helps educate our community.
